Planning a Wedding – Head-Smacking tip #2

” You know what your wedding party looks like but does everyone else? “

This tip is for all those planning a wedding out there; whether you’re planning your own wedding or you hired a professional to do it for you. One of the most common problems faced on a bride’s wedding day is trying to get the wedding party in order.  This can be a very difficult task if you or your planner don’t know what each member of the party looks like!  Up until this point, planners usually go by names and confirmations of attendance to assure themselves they are prepared.  However, when the day comes to physically “line” everyone up they’re lost as to who they are looking for.  Make life easier by taking photos of everyone in the wedding party.  If members aren’t expected to arrive until the actual ceremony be sure to get a hold of their picture before the big event.  By giving your planner or wedding day “helper” a list of names and faces, they’ll be able to seamlessly order your wedding party in no time.

*P.S – Polaroid cameras and film are so 1990, and super hard to find.  Instead, grab digital pictures of each member in your wedding party.  Digital pictures can be printed at any major department store for less then a .05 cents a piece.  Make 2 or 3 copies of each picture to give out to whoever you plan on helping you on your big day!
