Guide to the Perfect Bridesmaids Gifts

They have practically saved you from insanity and walked you through most of your wedding planning decisions. Your bridesmaids are not only just a part of your bridal party but more so true friends and confidants. You should express your gratitude with a present but not just any present, something unique and heart felt. Here is a guide to help get you started on giving your bridesmaids the thanks that they deserve.
How much does a Thank You cost?

Of course there is no exact amount that a bride needs to spend on her bridesmaids’ gifts, but to get a better estimate take the following in mind:

1.) How much have you set aside in your budget for wedding gifts ( Please tell me you have a budget! )
2.) How much your bridesmaids are spending to be in your wedding ( party, shower and wedding dress expenses, etc.) Just remember that the gift should be something they can really appreciate.

Now or later? When should I give the gift?

Bridesmaids gifts are generally handed out in a group during a private moment. Try to setup a lunch or happy hour specifically to thank your bridesmaids. Using this time to give a special thanks to each bridal member can sometimes mean more to them then the actual gift!

Got any great ideas for a Bridesmaid Gift?

1. Spa certificates - Show your thanks to a great group of woman by spending more time with them. Setup an appointment for all of you to get spa treatments - no wedding planning talk allowed!

2. Jewelry - Offer to buy each bridesmaids’ jewelry for the wedding. Spice it up a little and get different pieces for each member.

3. Personalized Gift - Give them something engraved with their names or something with a personal meaning. These days anything can be engraved for a fairly cheap price.

4. Party Dresses - Take a day off from planning and pick out a cute dress for each of your bridesmaids. You can then setup a night to celebrate all their hardwork while everyone wears their pretty new dresses!

5. Mix it up - Don’t get yourself tangled trying to find everyone the same gift. You know all your bridesmaids differently so give them each something unique that only they would enjoy.
