Food and entertainment in The Bahamas
Having a beach wedding in the Bahamas should be no reason why you can’t have fantastic food and entertainment at your event. Bahamian cuisine has a strong South American influence, so you’ll find that traditional dishes like curried goat, fried plantains, and conch fritters all share a common flavor. To complete your Bahamian beach wedding the bride can choose to incorporate a delicious west Indian rum cake as her wedding dessert. Rum cakes are more moist then traditional cakes and can range from being strongly to slightly alcoholic in taste.
Junkanoo is the native music performed by Bahamians. This style of entertainment involves coreagraphed dances and would make a fabulous addtion to any wedding reception.
